This is caused when user accidentally pushes on/off and start buttons simultaneously.
To exit test mode press start again > display goes wild>press start again>display settles down >
then press on/off plus start buttons simultaneously and hold for few seconds till display reads “D:end” or “D:off” or similar.
Machine should now function normally.Yet to be learned how to conduct test mode.
I’m going to one of these this afternoon 😕
Anyone know anything about the test procedure yet?

Sadly true, I think I will muddle along without the £130 + vat hardware key. The display does give error codes so I will manage with that for the moment. 😥

‘Twas Iadom who helped me with this info last year and I just put it in error codes.
Was lucky not to get a belt meself as the module was the first thing I looked at that day. One of the advantages of being slow; probably the thing had discharged itself by the time I got to it. 😀

I’m not sure how to obtain this Service Manual – I’m looking for the meter readings that I should be expecting from a Hotpoint 3-phase motor.
Can anybody help, please?Many thanks,

I can but not until later tomorrow. Got the manual in the garage (saw it today) but busy all day until late. Unless some one comes up before…
