I`m currently buying diesel at 128.9p. So at 129.1p plus a 3p surcharge this isn`t looking like such a great deal after all.

Would anyone have a problem with this being posted in the general forum with credit to the WTA for doing it?
I think and, it’s just me thinking, that we should perhaps offer people this stuff and encourage people to join and be a part but not through bribery.

Hi All
The price quoted to me yesterday was £103.99 ltr but when i have asked them to confirm by e-mail it has never happened so no confirmation then no purchase as i havent been informed in writing the correct price charged.

I thought they were going to send out emails once a week to tell us what their price was? Sofar I have been unable to use the card because the pump price has been cheaper.

The 103.99 would be excluding VAT.
I paid 125.7 inc vat at Total on Monday.
Phone 01473 295 444 and they will arrange a text message every monday morning confirming the price that week for diesel.

I dunno what the moans are about regards the pricing, we’re saving every single week without fail.
I got unleaded for less than a quid a litre last week, way better than the price on the pump.
And again, do we open this up to the general trade as a gift from the TA.

Altrustically, yes we should open it up to all UKW repairers, but…..
We want to grow the WTA into a truly inclusive representative body for the industry. “Club” fuel savings could be seen as a very worthwhile carrot to those looking in, wondering “Will I, won’t I?”.
We have the September meeting coming up soon – It’ll be the WTA first anniversary, so an AGM will be in order. A pre-meet publicity post in General Trade would be a good idea, outlining what we’ve been trying to achieve to date – we could perhaps include a working example of fuel savings? Nothing like a statment that says “I’ve saved £500 so far….” to get peoples attention!

We will need an AGM proper ,can this be done in the afternoon ?
it would be good to show what we have acheived or are in the process of acheiving since our inception ,fuel cards ,cop, trade guide etc anything else ?
We also need to sign post future ideas as a taster
who is willing to stand again ,for the record I am .

Hmm.. My view is no, only because the fuel card scheme was set up for WTA members… So it should remain, for WTA members. People pay to be a member, so they should get more than the the ‘non paying’ general population… But that’s just my view 😀

KeymasterHi razor,
Yes it is and I think it’s saving a bit but not sure how much TBH as I don’t pay that much attention to it but, we use it a lot.
Lawrence has all the details I think but you can just contact infuel directly, tell them you’re a WTA member and they should just sort it for you.
