Strange thing is its been working fine for 3 months on low heat. (I said I’ve been meaning to post about it. Luckily they haven’t been chasing it up).
And only 2 months before this cutting out fault I cleaned it all out whilst replacing the rear bearing on it.
Just for good luck i cleaned it out again.??

Dunno Tim I can only tell you what it’s doing, not always why it’s doing it and that’s the safety shutdown for an overheat that can only be tripped by the stats.

Does the filter open out on this model? I had a CD60w that wasn’t drying well or condensing. The customer had only ever wiped fluff off the outside of the filter.(Didn’t know it clipped open) When opened up the filter wasn’t full of fluff but the gauze was just choked and after a wash with a stiff scrubber all was well again. (It took 3 years to get like this mind!)

KeymasterRe: dv06 dryer
Well, I can’t think of any reason then.
If there’s adequate ventilation and it’s not cold there’s no reason for popping stats other than they’re opening it before it’s run through the cool down phase.
