I always say never mix work and pleasure…. 😆
BUT 3 years ago I met a nice lass in the Welsh valleys and we really hit it off, so much so we got married 2 weeks ago!!! 8)

Ah…… I did hope that someone would get off the smutty track that this thread took!

I knew the wife vaguely through friends of friends. Went round to put a door seal on her ancient Servis 17 years ago, hit it off and been married for 15 years now.

Never looked or strayed since, mind 😀 .

Interesting, Nationalhomecare and penguin45, when you say “hit it off” you started chatting and maybe drink some tea and then when you walked out the door you asked her to meet for a drink?

We can never say where we will meet someone special.. Many years ago i ended up dating a customer for a year, nice lass too.

Was i must say annoyed by the sniggering from some of my pals when they found out how we met, one commented that it was like the plot from a 70’s porno ! repair man calls, gets more than he bargained for, etc,etc..

Wasnt like that at all, but hey, if it amused my mates, thats just fine 😉

Funny how meeting someone in a crummy pub pissed out of ones face is considered acceptable, ( personally never met anyone worthwhile that way ) but if you meet someone in their house & at least have a chance to get to know them a little, you get a p*ss take.. funny old game.. :rolls:

I don’t think it went ‘smutty’ just a few people explaining some of thier experiences (not in detail neither I may add).

well roly, she was a special girl who could look beyond my physical shortcomings..though i never take a good picture IMO.. as for the light sabre.. i take it everywhere, have you never heard of the dark side?? 😯

She certainly must have been a special girl. Either that or she looked like that as well and thought you were handsome. And of course I’ve heard of the dark side. It’s where we go every day when we step across a customer’s threshold. 😆

Well i went to a house rented by a couple of girls to install a Beko washing machine. The woman there about 29 not particulary gorgeous but very girly and a nice bum. So last night after a couple of wines i texted her and asked her out and we are going out tonight LOL
