They are now rolling out the service network and in the next few days those of you that have signed up will get a username and password to log into their system. Once logged in fill in the details such as PLI etc and they you will be good to go – its quite easy, even I can do it !!

We are nearing the end of the first year of the WTA members doing work for this company and time for a review ~ I have had very few issues with them paying on time but I am getting some whispers that there may be problems with the recall agreement and also durability concerns with original and replacement parts ie fan motor on ovens and hinge problems. Could those of you that have got concerns please send me details of jobs that have/are causing upset. Would you kindly list job numbers and the problems to me at ‘dales.electronic@btopenworld.com‘ so that I can discuss with them

It has come to my notice that there seems to be some problems with payments from First4Service so having contacted them over the weekend I today received the following response from their MD Matt Jeffers. It would seem that they are having problems with the integration of their job allocation system and the sage accounting system that they are using. Currently this package is refusing to allow the system to input data and the accounting system to pay said engineer in the agree 14 day period. He assures me that he has drafted in further staff to manually input this information to get the engineers paid and further confirmed that the new automated system will be in place by the end of December. Not had any problems what so ever with receiving payments

Anyone having problems with payments still as I have still got problems with payments.
I sent an e-mail of outstanding payments and incorrect payments 10 days ago but still received no payment or reply to the e-Mail.
First 4 are on linked in asking for engineers saying payment within 7 days for jobs but this is not happening.
When they started off just over a year ago payments were paid on time but over the last 3 months this has not been the case.

Regarding this company we have been approached, does anyone know what the rates are ? Payment times? Product Range and tally of jobs if you are already doing work for them

We are no longer doing work for them, But parts were ordered via there portal, however they are based in Purfleet I think if you want to track them down.

As of today after a customer was informed that we no longer work for them..
We also no longer carry out the work.
There seems to be a number of engineers who are not covering their appliances and Rangemaster appliances for the reduced rates on out of warranty calls.
I must point out that it is First4service that I am referring to. And maybe it might be a good idea to separate this thread to individual companies and not as a group.
