Usualy one of two problems cause this.
The most likely problem is that when fitting the element you turned the basket upside down by turning it anticlockwise. After fitting the element you turned the basket back over still going anticlockwise which kinks the hoses ( making the link support to snap ) and causes this problem. When you turn these drawers upside down you always return them in the opposite direction.
The other problem could be that the white plastic drawer catches at the back of the runner in the closed position.

sorrie as the F&P engineer for manchester area’s i think you
made a mistake1. are the hoses in the right order water/electric/drainhose
look ad the other drawer to make sure they in the same place
2. on the back of the drawers there are 2 lockers
are they both unlocked
3 !!! u didnt leave any tools inside !!! easy done
good luck

If you turned the drawer the wrong way you probably wont see any difference in the hoses. Easy way to find out is to take the drawer out and turn it 360 deg anticlockwise, put it back in and see if it works. If it doesnt put it back the way it was and then turn it 360 clockwise and try again.

If you have the double drawer model you may as well change the cable tidy for the new metal version on the other drawer because it will break in time anyway.
When you have done that you can look at it and you should be able to see where you went wrong with the other drawer.
There is one right way to lay the pipes and that is it!
I defy anyone to explain it in words how it should be done.Steve
