Maybe it’s just me, but I am not happy with member “leavemetogetonwithit”. There is something about his whole attitude which is just all wrong. Maybe its the advertising for secondhand bits, maybe it’s calling us anoracks, the questioning aggressively of 2 years work to date. I don’t know, I just don’t like it.
Sorry, don’t usually get annoyed with the antics of members or guests.

You may recall that I had similar problems with Goatboy, Funkyboogy and others over the time span. In the end they all, without question, have formed part of the greater spectrum that is our trade and have contributed greatly to our overall understanding of what is going out out here.
Encourage rather than discourage is the watchword I think, each and everyone may very well turn out to be a valuable asset after all 😉

After reading his post today regarding Askoll pumps i am beginning to side with Chris on this one. I mean how much is an askoll pump?£3 or so but he is contacting Askoll asking for them without coils? I Guess they must have had a good laugh about that.
Is Penznace really this Peasant outpost he is painting it as?I have to wonder…
Is the area really that bad (I don’t think that it is having been there often) or are teh punters taking the piss out him?
I strongly suspect the latter, which begs the question…
Is he smart enough to realise it?

Say what you like about MIKE THE BIKE but I think he, after all said and done is without doubt the nuttiest we have ever come across here on UKW 😆The things he comes out with make a grown man cry with all sorts of emotion and after all said and done he is …a bloody good laugh! :rotfl:
It is such a comfort for us to realise that at least the far Southern reaches of mainland Britain do have someone to turn to if their washing machine breaks down. Someone prepaired to call out in all weathers, all seasons, all events to cover any eventuality!
Comfort in the realisation that his services come cheap (no wife & kids to support after all – lives in a Council house with his widowed father, who pays the rent) His experience is boundless (since he found free technical support from UKW) his talents endless!
Now Christmas is coming all too soon enough I know, and what more appropriate time that we ought to think of others before we think of ourselves? And so I propose we should consider carefully the benefits of MIKE THE BIKE as a friend and colleague by donating to his cause, ensuring his friendship and support by providing what, without doubt would be a fitting tribute from us to him as a simple ‘Happy Christmas Mike’……
