The Deed is Done

Well I have gone and bought my new machine but changed my mind at the very last moment after reading Kwatts last post, which gave me food for thought. (Thank you Kwatt)

I went for a Miele Prestige Plus from John Lewis’s for £549. (Got a very nice interest free deal) There is a two yr guarantee that is on promotion to extend to 5yrs via some redemption voucher & then after 5yrs my household domestic appliance plan should cover it after that for a further 3yrs until it is 8yrs. By that time, I would consider I have had my monies worth. So (fingers crossed) peace of mind for the next 8yrs & it’s being installed on Monday Morning.

And now I am off for a Curry, I am ravenous.

Simply Perfect

Well since I last posted my Miele was delivered & installed & is perfect. I am very impressed & it is so so quiet. – I eventually received my cheque from the Warranty Plan Company & so all is well. (Just got to pay for the Miele now!!!!)

Still hunting for a new cooker though, but given that I am thinking of re-modelling the kitchen, I may opt for some built in, even though I hate the idea. (much prefer freestanding)

We have just had installed some Bosch and Neff products into our new kitchen, management is very impressed with the quality and performance 😀
