thankyou for your replyDecember 26, 2007 at 11:18 pm #237909kwatt
KeymasterWithout the model number so we can see what it is it’s nigh on impossible to say. 😕
It could be as simple as a duff thermistor or heater, which is likely, to something more sinister.

ParticipantRe: Fridge / Freezer
yeh it is kind of like a clock
would that be the cause of the problem
is that why the fridge after a few days begins to get warmDecember 31, 2007 at 5:44 am #237915johnuk
ParticipantRe: Fridge / Freezer
I have been told that the reason the radiator gets iced up is because of faulty defrost imes , does that sound correct

KeymasterRe: Fridge / Freezer
Hi John,
It’s all too likely that the defrost timer is the problem as they do fail and the defrost cycle doesn’t happen. It’s certainly the running favorite for being the culprit.
Defrost timer is here if you need one.

KeymasterYou should see it in a housing on the rear, again totally from memory as it’s a while since I’ve seen one and it’s just fitted with spade connectors.
