A local large retailer near me bought three containers ,Apparently within three washes they fry the PCB’S and Haeir cant give an ETA .
The sales guys have refused to sell anymore as they are fed up with the grief .

Well, maybe, just maybe, the buyers at Comet will learn something from this. Lower volume higher quality products are probably better for profits in the long term anyway, but as Ken said, it looked good to the number crunchers ,on paper.

The goodwill generated by not putting your customers home on fire should’nt be underestimated either 😯

Obviously no one on here knows what we bought them for, and as we all know its the GM that counts, but with these heaps of cacka it aint worth the bottom line.

The biggest laugh I have had in my capacity, was to try & contact Haier Technical, I got some complete monkey who gave me an alternative number, which turned out to be their aftersales, phoned him back, and he denied ever speaking to me, then you know for sure these are a shower outfit

I implore all of you, please leave well alone, the burning comes from a brush carriage too large for the comm, so you replace the brushes, then a a day later the pcb goes, replace that then you get o.o.b, which Haier have really given their wisdom on, get the cust to stop the appliance, wring out the clothes, then re-spin……. :shake:

That’s the best laugh I’ve had in ages, even if it was at your employer’s expense. 😉

It’s also probably the best warning I’ve seen to just step away from the Haier, don’t look back, don’t touch… just step away.

Glad to have raised a smile Kwatt, although obviously a serious matter, it is mad what Haier have told us, how we gently tell the cust’s that is another issue!

At least the top brass are on to it & doing something about it, rather than letting it drag on for another 6 months, then we go into peak totally snowed under.

Its an embarrasment for Comet, but we’ll get over it, a needle in a big haystack of products.

i reckon, and its been said before if comet are paying more than £50 a box for them, ill platt fog

the haier question will burn for years, best thing for them is to turn all the ships around at southampton

or just hope the factory was flattened in the earthquake

It wil give me a bit of reading this eve, she who must be is out, so its a busman’s for me this eve, I obviously have a bit of catching up to do 😳

As for turning the ships round at our docks, we still have a couple of WW2 ack ack guns mounted up on the waterside, that should sort it 😉

Oh good god !! Well, i’ll continue to avoid them ! Well, as long as there are punters who buy everything on price these things will continue to land on our shores, the current economic climate has no doubt bumped up sales at these price points.

Even the dimmest customer will probably not come back for a second helping though.. :rolls:
