    The latest diagnosis is that the sensor has gone and needs replacing…however we are now waiting for the part.

    My one concern is that we are still running the machine (the freezer still works and we’ve got to have some way of storing food), any opinions on whether we are damaging/shorting the life of the machine?

    Still, given the forecast for the weekend, opening the fridge door for 5 minutes is as effective as air conditioning! You have to look on the brightside!

    The sensing probe is in stock at Hoover we have been told, but we are still waiting for the part to arrive. We have been chasing the part every two days. As soon as the part arrives, I will come straight out to you to fit it free of charge.
