    Hi Phil. Thanks for the post. Have you purchased and replaced blown part, after checking/replacing motor? If so have there been any other problems after such a large short? If it’s a motor and complete module then it’s definitely a Hoover job. There wasn’t any damage to the tracks or edge card connectors on mine, which is why I originally popped another fuse in without carrying out too many checks.

    I had the same model of machine today.

    No motor action as well.

    Initial fault was apparently error 09 not pumping, machine full enough of water to flood floor when door opened.

    Checked wiring from board to motor, all ok.

    I didn’t bother checking fuse as I had already read this post.
    Advised them to use 5 years parts cover.
