    Had a look for part No. C00264260 on Connections website but – “Sorry, no results match your search for “C00264260”
    I even tried Hotpoint’s website but could not find it there either.

    depending on where the machine is (ie flooring), just drill a 3mm hole at the lowest point, and glue some dense foam on the outside over the top off the hole, like a foam nappy, also check that the hole in the wall if they had a vented machine is sealed off, filled in or blocked, as cold air coming through that and hitting the rear cover will cause your problem as any moist air inside the cover will condensate, turn to water and trip the heater

    Sorry can’t remember what I did, either I fitted a pump or I did as evo1 suggested. I know what ever I did, I did not get any call backs.
