    Re: Hotpoint LFT04 error code

    Hello,
I came across this extremely useful thread after my Hotpoint LFT04 developed similar symptoms. So first of all, thank you for sharing your investigations on this forum.
My dishwasher was working overnight but this morning I discovered that one of the fuses on my fuse box was triggered. This fuse covers the fridge, m/w oven and dishwasher.
After resetting the fuse I noticed the Normal, Eco and Power lights on the dishwasher’s panel rapidly flashing. I turned the dishwasher OFF and ON and re-started the cycle. After couple of minutes it stopped with these 3 lights flashing again.
On the 2nd attempt the cycle is running now. The water is circulating in the machine but it’s COLD (although the Power wash cycle is selected).
Two things (triggered fuse and COLD water) make me think that the heating element is gone. I would appreciate any opinions supporting or dismissing this.
If this sounds like a reasonable assumption there is a replacement part http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/c0025652 … ng-element (thanks for sharing a link!) that I’m considering buying. I would appreciate if anyone could advise on how difficult it is to replace the heating element; whether any special tools are required, etc.
    Thank you in advance!

Not that difficult, getting the hose clips back on and making sure the thing doesn’t leak afterwards the biggest problems.
