Will give them a try, this machine is one of the last produced and other than the spin bearings is is first class order. We are all familiar with the older people on their own who dread the thought of an automatic including the major expense involved in this case to plumb a machine in.

NB. Just tried and the number has been changed to 01443 743370.

They don’t have any either. 😥

Just had another look on FreeFind as I seem to remember seeing a bearing kit for these.

BKT23 and my suppliers still have 8 left. Have never used these but will give them a go, nothing ventured. 🙂

Hi Folks.

I need one of these for a dear old relative of mine 86years old. To fit an Automatic in this kitchen would be a nightmare, so to redeem the twin tub would be wonderful.

Is there any hope?. Its beyond the bearing kit stage and would also need a Bellows seal 145061.

As the date of the thread suggests, we were struggling in 2005 to source one, I think your chances now are as remote as Spurs finishing in the top half of the table. 😥

Goatboy Senior says that he might have a bearing kit 8) He’s found the top sleeve so far.

As for the bellows, is it for the 1450 or 1460?

As indicated in the previous post, this “spin shaft and bearing housing” is a bit of a wreck, the shaft is badly scored so it ideally needs a complete assembly which comes complete with the shaft under part number 149071. The bellows seal is for the metric, plastic tub model.
The rest of the machine is in really good condition, it would be a shame to scrap it, but the biggest problem here is there are major problems in trying to get an Automatic in.

So if Goatboy senior has got the parts needed I would be grateful indeed.

He says that the bellows is available through connect, he has a bearing kit, and there’s a S/H T/T in the backyard.

He can whip the shaft out and see if it’s any good if you want him to? 🙂

Oh yes please…..

A s/h shaft would do nicely. I have a set of the special bolts and screw covers, if GB seniors shaft is ok, together with the bearing kit and a bellows seal from CDSL and we are in business. Just let me know price,costs etc.
