Thats not what was on her sheet of paper masquerading as a manual. That does however answer my question as to programme times, thanks.

Just downloaded and checked the latest version of the WD420 (hot & cold fill) manual.

It actually says, ‘ A 20 minute cool down cycle is included at the end of a drying cycle.

Purely a matter of semantics but it should be added, not included.

    😛

Maybe something to do with translation from Italian into English.:snigger:

Surely the Italian instructions would have said,

‘A 20 minute cool down period may or may not be added at the end of the cycle depending upon which module, eeprom, smart card may or may not be working at the time’. :rolls:

Or it should say will only cool down and never heat again after twenty mins use.Well thats how long they normally last before they stop working.

Or……..”manufactures guarantee does not imply appliance will be suitable for purpose. furthermore the purchase of an extended warranty will not cover faults”

Have you tried checking the dryer solenoid valve or make sure water is running into condenser

    Machine is working fine.

I was caught between a paranoid customer and the woefully inadequate sheet of paper that is supposed to be a user manual.

For future reference, if you set one of these for a 30 minute drying cycle it will take over 50 minutes to complete. 🙂
