ParticipantThis dryer is only 18 months old and has had very little use. On test with the door open the dryer motor runs but there is a very poor flow of hot air coming from the heater box. Have checked inside heater box which looks like new. If it is a blockage what is the best way to clean it out.
Also are there any mods to this particular model, the serial number is 707060191.
Thanks GrahamMarch 26, 2009 at 8:15 pm #281411BobHope

Hi Bob
No not done one before, how do you access the dryer filter?
Looking from the top with the heater duct off it just looked like the condenser unit was part of the drum and impossible to clean out.

at the rear lefthand side of the heater box did you remove a pipe that goes to the water soliniods.
this pipe has to be removed to allow the box to come off.

No I did not remove any pipes so it looks like I will have to go back and dig a bit deeper. Thanks Bob

Hi, Had one of these myself, similar problem.
The motor was running ok but the fan was slipping on the shaft and not turning. Got a new fan kit from Masterpart.
