ParticipantThe machine starts as normal and the water begins to come into the machine, however it then stops and the water starts draining from the machine, whilst this is happening the mini load is flashing as well as the on/off button and the only way of stopping the machine is at the fuze box

Sadly light four flashing suggests a motor triac fault. It could be a loose connection to the motor but the chances are that the main circuit board has failed.
Time to take advantage of your five year parts warranty. 😥

Thanks but I guess we are talking a fair amout of cash? Would it be better getting a new machine rather than getting it fixed if the problem is what you say.Cheers

If the machine is under five years old then all parts are covered. You will pay the Indesit Company £99.85 for labour.
You will not be able to go out and buy a new machine for £99.85, just don’t let them talk you into parting with another £60 for a 12 month guarantee. 😉

Are you sure, give us the full serial number from inside the door and we can date it for you.
Parts software has this machine as 2006 onwards.
