I for one could do with a quiet week (nah..not really) be bored having to put up with Fraggle all day.
Its been a constant 10 calls plus since I cant remember. All early calls this week as hit me though as Technics1200 can confirm,(these youngsters cant take the pace either).
Most annoying part of week…customers Not in again, demanding timed/weekend/evening calls,NOT a chance..work enough to allow them not to take days off work as it is.

Up here there seems to be very little money about, a typical job today serves as an example: Hotpoint WM64, went to fit new door hinge and hinge bearing, noticed a tear in the door seal, I got paid for the door repair but have to go back another time to do the seal as customer can’t afford the extra £18 for a seal just now.

suddenly picked up in rural northumberland. thank god. got 12 good old fashioned repairs done yesterday without the need for diagnastyics cycles or repairing pcb etc. over the last six weeks i’d have been on bones of my a*** if it wasn’t for my pat testing.
