Re: Identifying Date Codes and Serial Numbers

Dunno if this will work on UK/EU Whirlpool products but for the US it does…

The date code is the 3rd to last on the model number.

    Example model numbers: LRS6233BW1= 1994 , SF367PEYW1= 1992 , LE6685XPW1= 1985 or 2004 , ET22PKXXW0= 1991 , EV150CXKW0 = 1982 or 2001

    K: 1982 or 2001

    L: 1983 or 2002

    M: 1984 or 2003

    P: 1985 or 2004

    R: 1986 or 2005

    S: 1987 or 2006

    T: 1988 or 2007

    V: 1989 or 2008

    W: 1990 or 2009

    X: 1991 or 2010

    Y: 1992 or 2011

    A: 1993 or 2012

    B: 1994 or 2013

    D: 1995 or 2014

    E: 1996 or 2015

    F: 1997 or 2016

    G: 1998 or 2017

    H: 1999 or 2018

    J: 2000 or 2019

If you are looking to give the customer a rough age of the machine and you dont know the date codes then look at the back of a piece of moulded plastic on the machine. Any plastic for the past 15 years or so will have a month and year stamp on them .

Beko example 10-104133-04, having just spoken to Beko the first two digits are year and the last two are month so 2010 April (10 & 04). The rest in between I don’t know.

Thanks, I was searching for Hotpoint WMUD962P serial starting 1102, I assumed it was Feb 2011 but searching online provided various results and tables…

    Baumatic Date codes.
Tenant has to pay for breaking the hob.
I’m trying to age the hob as the hob seems to be quite old and perhaps they shouldn’t have to pay the entire fee?

    Hob BHC605
    Serial number 7010030500.

If anyone could help to age this appliance that would be great. TIA Steve
