All the lights come on but it does nothing

Humming noise from machine

Any ideas?

Is the water fill tap turned on? Will it drain and spin if set to a spin programme?

Yes water turned on

I have taken off all pipes and they are all clean. Also checked filter in front of machine

Don’t know if I can reset programme, seems to be stuck on original program

A humming noise is either the fill valve trying to let water in when the is no supply to the valve or the drain pump or main motor trying to run.

Can you pull the machine out and listen to it, does the noise appear to come from the top, left, rear corner of the machine or lower down?

I will pull it out and see where the noise is coming from when I get home

I tried to put a spin or rinse setting on but all it did was lock the door and all the lights come on. I can pause it but nothing happens when I play

Will update location of noise shortly. Thanks

All lights are now flashing and it is making a noise ?

What sort of noise, where from?

All lights flashing was a common fault on the earlier modules with a quick fix but not on this one. 😥

Noise as in pumping water

Engineer is £45 call out plus parts 🙁

Machine is not that old. Just out of warranty

Hmm, nothing mechanical or electrical bottom left, nearest thing there is the main motor. ❓

My daughter always listens to me ( as far as anything electrical or mechanical goes anyway) that’s why she has an ISE. 8)

There is a circuit board bottom left looking at the machine from the back

Buzzing noise coming from it

I should have bought Miele but had to buy all appliances as new house :-/

It could be if the board needs replacing. As said above it is an indesit 🙂
