    Heater relay is RL1 next to big heat sink. It is driven from the microcontroller pin 42 via a high current darlington driver on ULN2003 (input pin 1 output 16). Feedback from relay output is through D1 & R3 to pin 39 of the controller chip

    The fault has gorn. 😀 😀
    You are owed several pints in this area 😀

    The tracks are more than a little delicate though.
    Nice being able to keep the customer when they would’ve had to pay over £100 for the board and eprom.
    Have now a stock of relays from CPC 😉
