If you know when the call was booked that its an integrated washer or d/washer ask the customer to fully clear out the cupboards where the plumbing is before you call. So you can just glance in and assess the situation in seconds rather than shifting dozens of cans of Mr Sheen, Pots, pans, vases and hundreds of Tesco plastic bags!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found the best course of action is to show the clients the issue with the installation before moving the appliance, if there gonna be a pain, argue etc you`ll now at this stage rather than 55 min later covered in sweat and really irritated.
Having said that if you work for a manufacturer, the client will probably ring and complain about your helpful attitude. 😥
Gotta love the customer`s.

I have had two great intergrated episodes this week alone.First one built in dishwasher with about 30 wires in front of it all going off to LEDS built into plinth all round kitchen.Inform customer of problem. His words it will be alright so carefuly remove machine off wood over wires great I thought. No when refitting it I catch a couple of wires and they brake spend 30 mins fishing wires from behind machine and splicing them back together. The second carry on.Lift up builtin washer over raised tiles and crack, the tile broke. The tiler had only cemented half the tile so the weight of the machine snaped the tile where there was no cement.Happy days … 😳
