Up to now the gen Hoover brushes have not been a problem. It has been the HV12101, Masterpart sourced brushes issued as replacement from ISE HQ that have given out in no time at all.

I have used genuine Hoover brushes on the last three machines so time will tell.

That said I have also had two or three motors that suffered major armature failure within the first 12 months, one after only three months, long before the brushes had worn on any of them.

Well worth a try if I don’t get the three sets of brushes used recently replaced by genuine Hoover carbons though. 😉 🙂
