    Re: ISE Appliances

    Whilst I agree with most of what you have posted Sean, please bear in mind the following;

ISE has 4 directors, with a fifth in the wings, UKW has 4 directors.

    Lets take UKW 1st.

Ken has the MD ship and overall responsibility to service the P&G contract along with God admin and numerous other tasks he gets involved in (don’t forget the running of the trainers).

Dave has taken on the role of “spares” and is doing a fine job, very nearly self sufficient as far as his profit and loss (including the google expense), without google he was self sufficient.

I seem to have Accounts, Networking, Training (other) and planning (lol)

You are slotting in nicely to Support and Logistics and becoming an invaluble tool for the support of the other directors responsibilities.

Possible funding streams for UKW are:
    a) The P&G contract
    b) Spares sales
    c) Advertising
    d) ISE Washer sales
    e) ACH and Call Administration
    f) 3rd party call handling with ACH
    g) Training provision/NVQ Verifier fees

Therefore we can all carry on with our tasks, and not all concentrate on 3 objectives, we can spread the workload as and when we need to.

ISE is the future for us . However you cut it without the P&G funding “detergent training” will stop. However ISE will require technical back up and UKW has in the shape of GD a perfect employee for the role.
I’m afraid it’s chicken and egg time now.

ISE needs sales and we need to drive that statement. Hence we have committed to JH, and rightly so, lets not waver in our believe that ISE will sell 10,000 appliances per year within 2 years giving a turnover of £3 million with gross profit of £500,000.

It’s ISE that will become our employer and paymaster in time and the P&G contract has possibilities for the future, Europe is the keyword there.

    Re: ISE Appliances

The tasks are divided up as much as we can do it. The hard part is keeping track of all that’s going on which is almost next to impossible so I’d give up trying Sean. Just trust people to do their job.

Kevin is correct, as far as major income goes then ISE is the future but it’s still evolving. We need to develop it and that will take some time as we learn along the ways, getting admin and systems in place is a part of that developement.

As far as P&G goes, both Kevin and I realise that there could be a lot more to this and not only in the training within the UK but also with collaberation to develop ISE. Part of the market positioning for ISE is to appeal to P&G so that we can use the resources there to enhance and further our own agenda as well as P&G’s. And just maybe take ISE into Europe or the US markets.

    Re: ISE Appliances

You pair obviously know Ian & Adam a hell of a lot better than Dave and I.

It’s just that I tend to see them blowin hot then cold then hot again.
I just want to make sure that now we’re scoring for them that we start to see some of the stuff we ” horse traded ” for, start to materialise.

I might not be as well focused as you pair but I seem to remember that we took a much reduced fee for including dish into the training in exchange for some goodies like.

    a) A new front end for the site and shop, Testing the ISE machine plus some help in promoting it. etc.

We just answered yet another requirement for them with thier latest project and aquired for them an unlimited supply of genuine, crash tested machines.

How much good will do we need to show before we start seeing a few results ourselves. They are quick enough to tell us when we’re not performing.

You have to realise that as an Indie the ‘Jam Tomorrow’ story is all played out with me. I tend to be more of ‘a Bird in the Hand Man’ these days.

I know we were on the back foot up till the new year (Partly our fault, mainly thiers) but now as the numbers are changing, so should our stance.

I’m not moanin’ just thinkin out loud, is all.

    Re: ISE Appliances

Us… accuse you of moaning Sean… na, we wouldn’t do that. 😆

They just need numbers to prove that it’s all working to justify the investments that’s all. TBH, I’d do exactly the same and you just have to play the game is all.

    We’ll get there don’t worry. 😉
