Hiya,
Yeah, totally cold washes and delicates are no issue and there. Full details are here with a list of programs and temperature options.

Hi Mister-Roy
We are (as you would hope!) continuing to have trouble free washing. The ISE10 is very easy to use. Cold washes are easy and the big 60 litre drum combined with high water level and slow spin down to 400 (or just rinse only if you want) means delicates are treated as such.
At the other end of the scale we were able to wash a summer tog rating kingsize feather duvet no problem. The winter tog one I would still take to the cleaners but the summer one washed fine.

Hi jaunty,
We are in total agreement, it really is, as my son would say, the ‘bad-boy’ of washing machines 😀
Hi mister-roy,
What machine did (if have) you purchase?

Does anyone know if you can buy these machines in Ireland?

dave-m – AFAIK no you can’t. ISE are not in Ireland and neither are their manufacturer Asko to get a similar Asko model. It is not just a case of shipping you one either as the whole ISE ethos is about support from independent engineers which will not be set up in Ireland.
Back to my ISE10. We have tried to be good and have bought Ariel powders (Bio & Colour) to use, other than for delicates where still use liquid and a dosing ball. We are finding occasionally that the powder does not wash out of the drawer fully. I guess the only solution is to dry out the drawer after each wash.

Hi Guys,
Sorry, I’ve been incredibly busy on the OFT thing lately.
Yes, the problem with Eire in particular is exactly as Jaunty points out.
On the detergent being left, try a little less. 😉
The 1606 and 1607 often need considerably less detergent to get the same results usually, especially in soft water areas.

Hi jaunty,
Yes if you dry the drawer out you will find that the powder will leave the drawer fully on each wash 😀
I use 75ml (or less) of ariel powder for each wash even though with my medium hardness water area it states i need 130ml 😯 . I still have outstanding washing results 😀
best wishes

Enjoying trouble free washing still
Anyone have a clue as to what is done differently on the ISE10 Colour/Whites wash and the Normal wash?
The chart in the manual for 60 degree wash chart with same rinses and spin speed shows
Colour/Whites 1.40hrs 60 litres water
Normal 2.15hrs 65 litres waterNot bothered about the 5 litres but what is being done differently?

Hi Jaunty,
From memory as it’s late and I don’t have access to the program chart…
The colour/whites is for everyday wash loads that aren’t that dirty.
The “normal” program is for more heavily soiled items so there’s an extended wash time and a deeper clean.

Hi jaunty,
The cotton/white does a pretty good wash, but the ‘normal’ is excellent for things like my sons work clothes when they are ‘extra’ dirty :rolls:
I have tried the cotton/white with the Higher Water Level option and that gives a very good result, maybe the extra water making a difference with the detergent, i dont know but those settings do a damn good clean even on pretty dirty items, i would say this option is suitable for most expect items with ‘proper’ dirt on, like oil and grease, and its a shorter wash time (if that bothers you, it doesnt me). I often use this with a 50oC selection instead of 40oC which a lot of clothes labels say, just in case some items cant take a 60oC without falling apart :rolls:

Belated note to say 10 year warranty certificate was safely received a few weeks ago 😀 .
Happy camper still. Had a bit of vibration noise, being lazy/forgetful I PMed Kwatt around 11pm one evening who replied (the same night) saying check the filter and sure enough a few things were lurking in there 😳 . Should have read the manual (or thought for a second!).
A small note on usability. As you fortunately can change the temp and spin speeds (within parameters) you need to check the settings are as you want them before lift off, if you have different people using the machine.
