Can we just ask why you’re asking about the thermostat in the first place? Would it not be better for you to tell us what exactly is wrong with your dishwasher? The symptoms perhaps?

when washing dishes the water cycle is cold and they are not getting dried. Having looked through the forums they mentioned the thermostat and heater. I have already replaced the heater and the water is still cold so looking at thermostats as next element

Oh OK. Well as I said earlier, it looks like an NTC screwed into the sump. You might like to measure the resistance of that (on the Kohms scale). Maybe the thermostat is inside the door panel? (I can’t see it in your photos and judging by the black plastic fitting on the Matsui web site it may well be in the door around the control panel area??)

In photo 1 you have a clear shot of your heater just to the right of the wiring you have a white plastic switch fitted in the black hose, this is your heater pressure switch, generally the diaphragm in these becomes blocked and won’t allow the heater to switch on.
I used to work for Currys as a TSM and these were quite a common partJuly 15, 2014 at 12:15 pm #416354Sandford
