ParticipantThank you
Here is better versions of the circuit board CAD drawings if they are helpful/might be more readable – managed to dig out an old scanner instead of using the phone to take pics
I really appreciate all the help and advice 🙂

ParticipantThank you, Either I am being very thick and/or blind.. but i can’t see 12/1 written anywhere on the two main boards EFL900 & EPW900.
I was told i should try running the machine with the pump disconnected & insulated and see if the machine/dump fills up with water, is that worth doing?

Moderatorcant read back now but did you not say it was filling and emptying at the same time

Participantthat is correct, i could hear and see if the water coming into the drawer.. I remove the drawer and could see the water coming in and also hear the water being pumped straight out

Moderatorand that could happen if the pump relay had stuck contacts so need to be checked first

ParticipantI am not sure what happened but I put the machine back together today after taking it apart to check the 3 circuit boards on front panel as you suggested.. and thought why not try the machine again… and it now works!. I did an empty rinse cycle and it worked without any errors. So I next did a short wash cycle with half a load of washing and it again worked with no hitches.
I am not sure what I did or why it has started working again as I had previously did at least two resets of machine and multiple test washes & rinses. I had just given up and decided come cut my losses with this machine as I have a long and good run with it this morning – I am not very good with things like soldering and other delicate fiddly stuff and was looking at getting new machine (was looking at a bosch 6 series on offer – washer only not a washer dryer I never really use the dryer function)!
Will see how long it continues to work for, thank you for all your help and advice Dave/Electrofix 🙂July 8, 2025 at 4:10 pm #493215mels
ParticipantThat can happen when a relay sticks, it may only take a slight knock to break the “weld” between the contacts. It will sooner or later, but probably sooner, stick on again if that was the fault. I sometimes give a relay a bit of a “gentle” rap with usually the handle of a screwdriver as a quick check, if I’m convinced it is stuck, and to keep something working while I find and order a suitable replacement relay.

ParticipantNot sure which relay it is/was… but I have zero soldering skills, so I would have to get someone else to do it for me.
But will see how long it keeps working for.
Does anyone know what suitable relays are and where you would be them from.July 8, 2025 at 7:50 pm #493217electrofix
Moderatoryou would need to trace the relay and get the numbers and info off it to find a replacement
