A kind of workers co-operative sort of like a Euronics set up …’nationally for work locally’…..hey! what a slogan that could be? The site could have a video embedded in it too, not showing folks how to fix things but for explaining to them how the cooperative works. Each co-op member only pays for every referral to them so the take-up should be quite appealing financially.

But it needs a lot of thought, vision and constructive input from all those willing to step forward. I’m up for it though right now I have family matters to deal with.

I’ll check in from time to time when I get a chance…. 😀

Resurrecting an old topic here, but it’s really interesting reading through all the posts relating to nationals.

If anyone would like any help/advice relating to SEO then i would be more than happy to help. Ally has a great point about Google maps/places too. I can’t believe how many people don’t use it, it’s not correct that nationals can’t successfully seo these too, although Google’s making it a lot harder to get away with.

make sure your google maps is optimised re photos, info etc .. Google dont like it if your address is different in the map listing to any other listing address you have ie if you have a address in yellow pages etc ..google trawl business listings in yell etc to gather/verify your details. if you fully optimise your listing it will show above others

this chart shows all the details required and how they score your listing

Re: National Hoovering Of Service Work

I’ve received an email from what appears to be yet another of these job referral outfits, enrolling me to the service:

    http://www.nationalhomeservice.co.uk

The website is owned by a company called Campaign Engine Ltd, incorporated in May 2013.

Interestingly they originally shared the same virtual address as DASA, 145-157 St John Street, London EC1V, but more recently moved to a different virtual address in Swindon.
