Hi Nick,

Let me put it this way, the first one I did, which was to change the main recirculation pump, took me almost two hours as I had to figure out how to get into the thing. Despite an explanation of it beforehand!

Mind you the bulk of that was due to the getting at the pump and the stupid clips they use. :angry4:

They really ain’t fun and there’s been IMO no consideration to service made.

If it’s just the stats, you’ll have to get them out and meter them, then it shouldn’t be too bad as IIRC you can get to them from the front. But it’s really hard to describe. 😕

Guys!

I have been having another play! after doing some research I have discovered what the thermostat looks like and how to test it. It seems to be working ok. My understanding of it is that it is basically like a switch, so when it gets to hot, it switches off. So i tested at normal room temp, then got it hot and tested it again, then got a different reading off the multimeter. I also successfully tested the heater element.

Any more advice on what it could be?
