Returned to machine today. Redirected sump pipe into a bowl and tested. Water was still backing up into pressure chamber, although not as bad. Tried reducing water intake pressure and bingo 😀 . On reflection, the heat exchanger did seem to be filling up very quickly. The time between the initial spill over and the wash pump kicking in was approx 30 seconds and this may also have been a factor. After telling the customer that it was excessive water pressure causing the problem, the reply was they had a reduction in pressure due to a burst water main down the road and when the pressure returned it was much higher than before. This happened the day before the dishwasher fault occured. :haier: :bang:
