    Okay so…

They are getting BSH work, screwed up be a phone number glitch by DSG to begin with.

    They are getting Fridgmaster.

They are rumoured to be getting Rangemaster.

    And now… Hoover Candy.

This should give an overall call volume of greater than 107,000 nationwide PA.

I have my doubts about NESN coping with it or, their network coping, but we’ll see.

That’s a SH1T load to put on to their network (Taking into account their exsisting commitments too)!

    Yeah-but, no-but, yeah-but!

Who is to say they won’t be doing what David Parker was sent out to do 7 years ago, and that is go along to disenchanted Repaircare/Connect agents and promise them the earth.

They have already been in my place, and I’m actually going to give it a punt, might be profitable, will strengthen an additional network and give me the edge with Connect in order to tell them where to go.

I am nervous to a degree, but I’ve dealt with heavier operations than that, and each time have picked myself up & just got on with it.

They are probably not be the messiah as someone put it, and I will be watching them. It will help me to keep the food bucket stocked when it comes to the wage bill. I’m slightly wary as the man they are using is Andy Craw. Bit of a sharp character as we all know.

That is, I would think, exactly what they will do and see who bites.

As for Andy Craw, who knows perhaps he’s a reformed character. All I know is he screwed ISDAL over and was a mate of Heath’s, that’s enough for me to show the same level of trust I’d give to a rattlesnake.

Leopard & Spots I suspect. That goes either way, whether Andy Craw or N.E.S.N.

One of the Connect agents finally had a phone call and was assured all this went on because DSG did have a dialogue with NESN, and the package included what Connect have now, as well as the new Bosch Contract was to be all inclusive. The senior manager from Connect who told the repairer this is adamant there was a risk of them losing it.

Can’t name names, otherwise might lose the information supply.

Bollocks (Wonder if the auto censor will pick that up?) If that was the case, why didn’t Richard Lawson dispute that fact at the DASA meeting? It was stressed by Paul Swift fom NESN and supported by Dave Highton of ISDAL that there has never been any negotiations or dicussions regards any DSGi contract that was already being serviced by Connect. Paul Swift openly challenged Connect into this, and they refused to answer. This may be why I have not had the same story as I was there and heard it all.

Edit, yes my expletive was amended.

Re: NESN Again (The 2010 Thread)

I was told by Mark Reilly, the BSH work was tied up with NESN before DSG re-negociated the rates with RC. APPARENTLY, RC had no idea this work was up for grabs…? He also expressed immense anger becasue DSG had tied up a deal with NESN then approached RC for reductions, without RC knowing this.

In other words… a total mess with each party blaming the other.

But, do you spot the common denominator in all of this?

Re: NESN Again (The 2010 Thread)

Somewhere in the trade forums it has been well documented regards the Rangemaster and Hoover/Candy. To be honest I’ve only heard verbally from Andy Craw confirming this, but would love to find something officially regards either contract.

Reason is, this was posted on the Repaircare forum by Bernard earlier today.

Thanks or your comment and feedback, specifically regarding work going to NESN.

I think the comments regarding work going to NESN are incorrect; Bosch has gone to NESN-but DSGi work Hoover and Candy still remain with GIAS. DSGi Rangemaster still remains with Repaircare. This correct as I write this note.

I know this will not stop speculation-but we are doing all we can within Repaircare to keep existing work and bring on board new clients.

Re: NESN Again (The 2010 Thread)

The ‘This correct as I wrote this note’ indicates to me, that he doesn’t have 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} confidence in what he’s saying is still going to be factual in ‘X’ time!

However, IMO, Bernard must have had some sort of re-assurances today to post that, as he & Repaircare would look very silly and ill-informed if it turns out true about NESN, Hoover, Rangemaster etc…

I suppose all will reveal itself in the coming weeks 🙂

Re: NESN Again (The 2010 Thread)

Wait, sit on it and do a big dance when the info comes out.

But, if they do get the work and put it out at the current stupid rate they’re as liable as not to get as much stick, if not more, than if they don’t get it.

The only way RC can win here is to secure that work and pay a sensible rate the same or greater than NESN otherwise, they’re gonna look very stupid indeed.

I know the ethos of UKW is free speech, and we tend not to edit delete etc. However this Lee tosser has no business being on that thread. Everyone else who is not involved have either not posted, or put up something that adds to the debate and is constructive. This twat is becoming a Troll.

I would love to see one of the mods take out his inane comments, even if re-posted under “Lee’s ranting, or hasn’t a bloody clue” thread.

He is doing my head in!

Lee8, don’t care… minor distraction. Unless he actually does know something and is some sort of plant.

If you read back his posts there are times he’s totally lucid, sensible and actually seems to have some decent intel. Other times he just appears to be talking out his ar$e. Jury is out.

NESN/DSG/RC information and disinformation debacle, do care.

There’s sh1t going on here and the full story has yet to be revealed I think. Something in this smells not nice and, I don’t like it. I also don’t like repairers and myself being used as pawns in some sort of game.

TBH, I don’t have the answers here yet.

What I do know is that it’s not just repairers that ain’t happy teddies.
