ParticipantI have learned that the brown goods members of our friends have created another network called “ICE”.I have been told that they have the blessing of there leader whoever he maybe.there are also at least two of the directors of said company also involed. The imformation I have is that they got the powerhouse brown goods work again.

Keymasteryep, that’s what I was talking about the other day, Mike whatever at Gwynne TV is heavily involved there as well. 😉
One thing did come to light when I spoke to him about it and that was that they were intending employing someone to go in and negociate on their behalf and he seemed keen to use the site to launch this. Now, since they’re brown goods and there are NESN directors involved it leads me to the conclusion (the only one I can see) that they want to form anoher psuedo NESN type thing and that moving into whitegoods is on the agenda. That’s one of the reasons I’ve been pushing the idea of our own network before these idiots get involved and basically fuck it up.
There are others out there waiting to pick up the pieces when NESN collapses, but don’t want to have their name in play just yet from what I can gather. We’ll see what shakes out.

ParticipantThe more I hear about NESN the more I worry. This latest brown goods rumour seems to support the other rumour about them splitting there networks.

KeymasterThis is what I’ve been on about with NESN though, there’s this which will undoubtedly hit the browngoods turnover as they are actively chasing NESN’s accounts as well as the seemingly diminishing pot of money to operate from. Couple this with all the other factors and I’d bet a years pay that they are really skint right now and are operating on a day-to-day basis.
When they lose the Coverplan work, which they are going to, they are history, but I really don’t think we will see them reach that point. They have coverage problems now, they have financial problems now and they have staffing problems now.

If there is any interest in me doing a bit of homework on Telescope Electronics in Newton Abbott, (large brown goods agent) who NESN bought outright last year, they are 15 miles down the road from me, please let me know. 😉

No just breaking even ,it’s the profit on the rest of the work thats going to suffer, funny that, it’s always something or someone else that suffers.

We actually estimate we were paid more than we were expecting on the non- coverplan work. Plus I have spoken to Mr Parker today and he has had words with JT and expects next months non- coverplan work will be a 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} payment as it’s threatening his work.
Lets see what happens
