Heh, car mechanics are now technicians. They became technicians when they had to touch a bit of electronics to test or in the cars. 😉

What makes you think he’s with FP as he hasn’t got an FP mail address, he’s got a UK one and I’d hope that anyone working for a manufacturer would know better than to advise like that?

He told me by PM that he worked for them, see earlier post. Could be the office cleaner for all I know. 😆

Which makes me wonder if it was “worked” in the past tense. 😉

I have just PM’d this person http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … highlight= asking him if he is in the trade. Only two posts so far, both on totally different machines. I have asked him if he is just dabbling and advised him to seek access to the trade forums if he is a bona fida engineer.

Hmm – the aforementioned Robelee is asking basic questions in the public forums (AEG door boot). He has trade access – should he?

    His website:

He repairs cookers so I had no option really 🙂

Re: One to keep an eye on.

This new member seems to have a certain level of knowledge, and also a fixation with Italy 🙂 , however when he states that the hot wash on a dishwasher is 90° to 95 I begin wonder. I did think he may be a Hotpoint/Indesit engineer but I now have my doubts.

He has trade access so I presume someone knows 😉

FYI – Trilobite is “an appliance enthusiast” – his friends worry about him 🙄 . Had a PM exchange a few days back. Just a little concerned as he’s tagging into the odd thread.

The choice of subject title for this thread and its regular scrolling on folks screens will give all a complex I’m sure. Who’s watching who? Big Brother and all that ?

In the past we have be careful in our title wording within this forum so as not a arouse any undue concerns and suspicions towards fellow members.

Would it therefore not be prudent to change the title?

    Re: Anguis in herba

That’s weird, on the scroller it gets translated (using Firefox anyway) 😕

Snake in the grass? If you must go latin how about “unus ut vigilo” (one to watch) or “servo an oculus sicco” (keep an eye out)…??

Whatever, at least now the title is a little more discreet 😉
