Oven Table

Hi, does anyone know where i can get an oven table from?
ie the portable worktop that i can slide an oven onto for repairing, want something more professional and lightweight than a black and decker workmate.

If you type workmate into the advanced search option there are quite a few threads worth a read. IIRC there were some alternative bits of kit around, some of the guys had even fashioned things themselves in order to work on built in ovens.

I’m thinking of selling my super dooper adjustable designer oven repair table………..

A ‘must have’ piece of kit for anyone to have on their van. Infinitely adjustable to suit all variations of kitchen units. Sturdy enough to move without damaging floors or fittings. A doddle to move around in any position.

None of your Black ‘n Decker cr&p here, this piece of kit is the dogs danglies…….

Cross my palm with just a few notes bearing Her Majesties smilin’ face on them and it’s all yours…

I too am after a table that will a just to different heights for ovens ..Have been looking at some motorcycle lifts but need it to be light weight and easy movable .

Any more ideas welcome ,already have a B+D workmate but want some thing else instead. 😀

got mine from merloni. it is adjustable and folds flat, dont know the part number though

I had thought about it Martin but not sure about the size and the fact i would have to take it apart and re-assemble each time i use it 🙂

Its big for sure but stores flat and takes 3 mins to assemble. Takes up no more room than a B&D Workmate anyway.

I’m open to offers and would like it to go to a good home. Buyer collects of course. 😉

ive had one of these tables for 25 years and its still as good as new ive taken out hundreds of ovens its a very solid table , with 3 height positions, i would not be with out one,

AWS Appliance Spares on 01603 412324 have some oven trollies available
There are the ones that the MFI engineers used.

A bit off topic but I had this in my garage used for moving stacks of race wheels around on:

bought from CPC (I think) for about £12 at the time. I bunged it on my van one day and have since found it great for lifting out single or double under counter ovens for which it is almost the perfect height, would be even better with maybe an 2cm wider plywood deck screwed to the top. Most ovens will slide out straight on to it and then its easy to wheel it around to remove panels etc, assuming your oven cable is long enough! and then slide straight back in to place afterwards. I know singles are not normally that heavy but are often sharp and floor damaging underneath and are at a back breaking height to lift sometimes.
