So why do I have copper symptoms when I don’t have copper pipes or copper in my water? (and the sun didn’t remove the green hue either)

Tech is coming on Monday, should I cancel the appointment since I don’t know where the problems is?

Or should I postpone it and change the water hose and see what happens? (the hose is rubber but the extender is stainless steal)

The only solution I can think of ATM is to get the stained items analysed however that may not be a simple task.:(

The hue did go off when washed with hand or in other machine so no problem there.
After scrubbing the machine I no longer have soap residue.
I will just do one last test, vinegar cycle. I noticed last time I did it the walls of the tub was filled with residue.

    Also, I just found this:

Anyways, I will replace the hose today and see what happens.

My colleague advised you earlier about the use of vinegar and I echo that advice. Don’t mess with it as you are merely going round in circles on this issue.

I wasn’t referring to clean with vinegar this time. It’s because last time I used it soap residue filled the tub.

    So an update:
I replaced the hose, just washed a pillow cover it turned green.

Are you absolutely, totally 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure you haven’t lost a dark coloured item down between the revolving drum and the outer drum ? I don’t know how much clearance there is in these Samsung machines, but in some US top loaders there is a quite a bit. It wouldn’t have to be green either – colour runs can be different from the main colour of the item. It could even be something like a felt tip or magic marker perhaps ?

Yes, there’s a gap and I haven’t lost anything, all I think it could be a black sock, but I did wash a black sock with whites and it gave a dark grey color not green. A magic marker, I don’t think so. For many reasons the water is clear and when I dip clothes they don’t get colored, they seem to catch the color on the rinse cycle!

I already cancelled the tech thinking I would fix the problem with changing the hose.

Do please call the tech in to have a look. I’m sure by now after all this time you haven’t got a single item of clothing, or sheets on your bed for that matter, that aren’t stained green…….!!!

Yes. I’ve been hand washing everything, I just kept a sock to show to the tech when he comes.

Just called. Tech is coming this Sunday.

Hope everything gets fixed. It’s really puzzling.

    Update

The techs came today, nothing seems wrong with the machine, they even opened to check if something is stuck, found nothing.

They said they will report for the drum, so hopefully in 10 days it will be replaced.

Tech said he only saw this problem once before, his solution is to due the tub cleaning cycle and add bleach, I’m like I’ve been doing it over and over nothing worked. He said try a steam pressure to clean the tub. Geez get me a new tub.
