Re: Pulling machines out on board

Has anyone attempted to use wheelchair ramp for their work van to load machine onto it rather than hoist it up?

I brought a wheelchair lift for £50 off ebay. Bolted it to the floor of the van, cable back to the battery with a fuse and isolation switch
job done! Lifts 300kg fits me and a machine on it is an absolute god send!!

Hotpoint board is not as bad as I thought, quite impressed with it especially how flexible it is.

That’s extra weight for the van. Is it worth it? Wouldn’t a simple wooden ramp do?

I’ve got a big van didn’t really make much difference to me really but they are big heavy things! Great though if you do enough.

Sounds like you and the machine weighs 300kg. I shall presume the machine is the heaviest! 😉
