    It’s all very subjective and we have no way of knowing whether the product will run trouble-free for several years or not/.Maybe that’s why some people buy cheap because they reason that if product A @ £250 is going to give them the same 5 year life span as gadget ridden product B @ £600, why would they buy the latter unless the gadgets matter to them of course. I prefer long term reliability with basic functions eg nothing “smart” in my appliances
    I think Don is right ,we need to see return to repairable long-lasting products

    AEG V Hisense? AEG everytime and bought via John Lewis you get an extra one year warranty.

    We were on opposite sides of the fence then Jim as I was into BSA and Triumph 😉
