    And guess what…….. Lol
Still not working. Been fine for 3/4 hours. Thought freezer wasn’t getting cold enough so a quick on/off and the displayed -18 was actually shown as a plus 2.
    God knows what’s going on.
    Any ideas?

Blocked system or new compressor has failed as per Brian R600a said may now be a scrap not repairable appliance.

I would get the engineer back as it has failed again so soon.

Soooooo bloody annoying this. Doing my head in, keep wasting food too.
I must admit it is/was quite hot on the bottom right hand side, assume that’s the compressor area?!? also noise has come back again.
He’ll be called again in the morning, not expecting allot of help now. Probably have to save for a new one. Maybe not Samsung!!!!

    Hi

Ask him to take a sample of oil onto a kitchen roll. If its not clear then the appliance will be scrap..I always tip the oil out of the old compressor as a standing now..especially samsung RSH1..It is also a known fault as there was a technical bulletin concerning it.

    Hi Bryan,
Appreciate your advice. Got a feeling I’m on a hiding to nothing.
Worst case scenario can you recommend a good value alternative to replace it with once I decide its had its day?
Are cda any good cda70?(5 yr guarantee too)
    Thanks again
    It is appreciated
