Sebo vacuum cleaners are EXCELLENT as Helo says, we have commercial ones to clean our house. I am a carpet cleaner and use them in the trade and as you can see practice what I preach!! 8) Sebo machines out perform any other brand available today. They are the only machines to remove deeply embedded grit from a carpet thus extending the carpets life some what considerably! Also filtration is good, S-class hospital standard.
They not only filter the allergens but pick them up also.They way out perform the cheap plasticy Dysons, and work how a vacuum should, also computer controlled height adjustment on domestic models and computer guided on commercial models.
Highly recommended, people often ask me what cleans a carpet the best and ALWAYS recommend Sebo, often get asked about Dysons but people do not like to hear the truth about them, piles of junk all round!! (Sorry Mr Dyson but they just don’t work, and I bet you know it). :rolls:

I bought my Mum two Sebos (JohnsonDiversey Ensign 360 Contract and JohnsonDiversey Ensign SM1) after having Dysons for years, the Sebo filled a bag with grit and other fine dust the Dysons had failled to remove, the carpets look a million times cleaner, there is about 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} less dust on the furniture in a week as it is all removed from the carpets properly. She is extremely pleased with the machines, and thats saying something. 🙂

Indeed i am helo but dont have a clue about vacs hence the question. I appreciate the input though seems they the dogs bits from the word in the trade so thanks again!

sebo’s are semi commercial more towards full commercial vac’s ( my thoughts ), no good for the average OAP though, rather heavy and a bit over the top for a domestic household ( unless ur a dirty sod ) 😀
For the price of them though i would of thought they would of stuck the magnet in a little better as ive had many to do with that fault.
Excellent machines though.

I wouldn’t agree with that.
I don’t find them heavy at all, certainly no more unwieldy that a Dyson but a LOT better built than any Dyson product ever was or, pretty much anything else. And, they clean one hell of a lot better as well than any other vac I’ve ever used.
I’ve got a K3 that’s had a power of use over the past four years or so and it’s never skipped a beat.

Sebo do a domestic and commercial range, yes the commercial ones are heavier, they are twin motored, and I do NOT reccommend using the commercial ones domestically.
The K3 that Ken has is part of the domestic range, and is an excellent machine, the “X” range of uprights are also domestic, the BS36 and BS 46 are commercial. The JohnsonDiversey uprights are made by Sebo even though their brand name appears no where on them!
I don’t know who mentioned semi-commercial? but it ain’t true. The domestic uprights and cylinders are NOT over the top for domestic use they just perform how a vac should, just because everyone has got used to the sh1t performance of Dysons and other cheap crap does not make Sebo OTT! :rolls:

This is the only reason i kinda said i would’nt reccomend for a household, although YES If you want it for domestic but i was using past experience with sales on sebo as many of our customers were getting on a bit and complained about weight, i steared them towards a dc03 or a oreck.
If you can handle(weight wise) a sebo, then go for it, small dwelling?= overkill.
These kind of things is basically what i was thinking of.
henry’s are excellent too, miele also.
Many cleaning business use henry’s, so do betting shops, schools etc etc, yet the henry is a domestic vac no?
I guess its down to the individual then?
Anyway, original question…. yes they ruddy are good, VERY good.

I think you ought to visit the SEBO website and check out the X4 Auto. Much smaller, lighter and more powerful than any flippin Dyson junk. Have a mooch at the video of it in action.:wink:
“Overkill” they ain’t mate, we have one at home here, 5 year comprehensive guarantee, SEBO call and repair in your home in the unlikely event it goes wrong in that time. Dust bags and filters freely available everywhere and cheap too. And the ‘Duo-P’ carpet cleaner stuff is BRILLIANT!!! ……SEBO have my vote.:D

The Henry is a COMMERCIAL VAC. They are just also sold on the domestic market, they use all the SAME parts as Numatics commercial range.
I do not think you understand the Automatic X range from Sebo are DOMESTIC, the ones that stick out on the left hand side are COMMERCIAL, These are not for houses, too harsh for certain domestic carpets.
As regards selling a customer a Dyson Dc03 over a Sebo shame on you Dysons shorten the life of a carpet by NOT removing embedded grit properly and do not clean allergens as they say. And Orecks do not perform as the sales crap tell you they do either. Sebos are the ONLY vac to clean a carpet properly, there is no other make that can do this and I’ve tried the lot!
Its interesting to know you sell the damn things and obviously have no knowledge of your products, you would not be asking this sort of thing if you did, the answer to your original statement is in my first reply to you. :rolls:

I sell people what they need, not what they want.
BTW, I;m also going back 4 to 5 years in that post, when i was in the shop,Out of all the sales i made the only feedback from customers ( as they were all regulars) is how happy they are with their product.
Personally i couldn’t care less what is domestic and what is commercial.
Many restaurant owners came in buying domestic microwaves for restaurant use, i specified we would not support any kind of warranty if they were buying for the restaurant which they were happy with, so basically sold them something we would NOT reccomend for their needs.I really couldn’t give a damn whats what, as i base sales on each individual customer….
wish i had a pound for the amount of times a customer came in for a packet of paper bags and walked away with a new machine.Like i say, selling people what they needed and not what they wanted is pretty much how we worked, many people wanting a dc-07 when coming into the shop, many of them walked out with a bissell grab n go.
I really don’t try to get too pationate over vaccums though.
In most cases commercial have twice the components ( 2 motors etc ) in them so i cannot see the point in commercial in a household, unless you live in a mansion.Anyway i aint gonna started quibbling over them.

Berber.
The reason we have commercial machines is pretty simple, 1. I have access to buy them fairly cheaply, 2. We have asthma and allergy sufferers and 3. They clean better than anything else, and extend carpet life considerably (on the right carpet type of course, which we have).
