So been back to this dryer this morning and the sensor on the element ntc and thermostat are all ok 90kohms on ntc and 0.50hms on thermostat front sensor in front duct also reads ok is this a possible relay board for the heater?

Having same issue.
Ele box sensor room temperature is 138kohms.
Under door sensor is reading 13kohms.
No neutral being switched from relay board…

Looks like element relays are switched in series with neutral relay as they all have a thin live going to back relay legs. This makes me think the neutral relay isn’t switching.

Was planning to desolder and swap the relays – the element relays did allow voltage through. But the circuit was never completed as the neutral relay didn’t switch – alas, trying to hold the board whilst applying the iron AND trying to prize the relay away was impossible.
It’s so awkward when the relays have 4 legs right close to each other. By the time you get the solder melted and start pricing the relay away, the other legs have cooled down and nothing budges.
Infuriating tbh.
I’m trying to find what the sensors (kohms) should be rated, but finding nothing.
Sigh!

You need desolder braid to take most of the solder off first

Unfortunately I had to ber the appliance as the customer wouldn’t pay over £80.00 for repair the brushes on top where shot. I think he is going to buy a cheap dryer 🙁 did advise but no telling some customers

So I’ve picked this dryer up off customer and I’ve got correct readings on front door ntc rear ntc and thermostat on heater and check all wiring to heater relay pcb I’ve another meile dryer with a relay pcb but it only has 3 relays on it and is still the same any ideas?

to be certain the relay board is your fault or not you need to measure the relay coil voltage. you can look on the relay but I am expecting 12 volts or so.
get a piece of kitchen roll, wet it and squeeze it out so its still wet but wont drip. place this across the brush gear at the top of the machine to simulate wet clothes. then run the machine and measure the relay coils to see if they energise. If you get the voltage then its the relays if not its something elseDave

Easy to see if the brushes are worn, by the tell tale “click”each time the sensor bands joint hits the underside of the brush assembly.
Best checking heating issues on timed drying, not sensor drying.July 3, 2018 at 8:02 pm #455990kaibart

That’s what I’ve been running it on I think it a air flow issue when I took out the condenser and 2 door filters it didn’t stop it ran through the 30 mins timed dry
