    It’s OK, Rob. If you look at his feedback you can see that bidders’ identities are kept private. So no one will know. 😆

    You too, interested then! I am surprised :lol:. Look guys, I can recommend “auctionsniper.com”. No need to hang around watching, just leave your best bid to be put on at last minute. Fantastic service, and minimal cost.

    The point I was getting at is I’m looking but not bidding. With Auctionsniper I would have to enter a figure, and strange as it may seem, I don’t have a need for this part so I don’t want to win it!.

    I bet there are loads of us with this on the watch list, and the seller is probably getting excited re the counter showing views on his item.

    That thought struck me too 🙂 . But he will eventually come to realise it’s just loads of people who want to find out if there’s any money to be made out of breaking old washers. (There’s actually a few sellers who are seriously trying that, e.g. “eco-appliance”. He’s in my favourite seller list and if he does well, I might try it meself.)

    Apparently there’s an exemption for re-use of parts from “de-polluted” end of life vehicles. So it’s possible there might be one for similar treatment of appliances. Certainly would seem reasonable to me. But I’m not serious about it, at this stage. If I thought there was money to be made, I’d just pay up for the ticket. You gotta humour these bureaucrats :).
