ModeratorI think we have all been waiting for something to happen with this company but the latest developement, whilst not unexpected, is of concern. It appears that one of our members has been told that he will not get paid the £8K that he is due from this company. We have been working directly for them for about six months and to be honest its a shambles – IT system doesn’t lend itself to indies, spare parts delivery is as bad or worse than GBDAR. You have been warned 🙁

Are we talking GB Dar, or Servis Direct? They are all rather nefarious.
If you ask Del, he will say all the same animal.

It’s a joke ,parts take forever ,customers are the usual fayre, I have already crossed swords with them re payment and rates, the only saving grace is that I get the D&G work direct after a conversation with Lindsey.
I can’t see it lasting myself

I was hoping with our friend Mr Moat out of the frame and his cronies @ GBdar that things would show an improvement under the new set up, obviously not.

Well what a bloody whirlwind that’s been for the past two weeks or so! Certainly kept me highly entertained.
Bottom line of it is that I think there’s a lot more to come out of it.
One thing I didn’t post openly was that the ex-employee said that there was a deal with DAG that fed money back to the two main protagonists, the SUK directors. Whether that’s true or not I don’t know but the comment was made so matter of factly I’m inclined to give it the benefit of the doubt.
On thing is for sure, I think that Kevin Moat is well and truly done now.

Just had this e-mail. What the hell is going on now I wonder? I said NO on all counts just to throw a spanner in the works.
Dear ISDAL Agent,
Can you let me have responses to the following questions by return.
Servis Appliances
1] Do you currently or have you historically, carried out repairs on Servis Appliances?
2] Do you currently hold a stock of Servis parts?
3] Do you have possession of a portable programming device for washing machine control boards?
Failure to respond may result in missing out on potential new business. Please email or call me directly with this information by 12/11/08 latest.
Best Regards
Julian Hunter-Jones

Oh Dear, if they do may lose a few friends. Personally I would give any Servis I/G work a wide berth.

Do you mean refrigeration work, as the Laundry etc is nationally Service Force with a very few exceptions, and I would have heard if some areas suddenly landed something out of their comfort zone.

ParticipantBeko IS NOT doing any Servis work . But there is a link, Vestel- Arcelick did make some product. (I understand thats where Connect get most of their spares). Beko-Arcelick are bitter rivals with Vestel Arcelick ( its been described as a bit like Man Utd v’s Chelsea). I have enquired whether I can source Servis spares thru Beko UK, but have been told NO.
