Yes, they are a menace those snowploughs. They chuck the snow off the road to their left, thus producing a wall off snow preventing anyone getting onto the road. Every time one goes past my place I have to go out with the shovel again before I can drive anywhere 😈

Kwatt Siad:
I’ve had a thoroughly miserable start to the year as, aside from being a bit unwell, a mains pipe has burst in my driveway which I don’t think is our supply. Of course Scottish Water deny all responsibility as it’s on private ground but can’t tell me what this supply is for or where to switch it off, most helpful.
If its a leaking pipe Ken are you sure that Indesit did’nt make it ! 😉

I think you could call it a “white-out”.

The clearest bit is around Dorchester and Weymouth so no problems whatsoever here apart from needing a new battery and heat plugs 👿

Wow! I didn’t know penguins could fly at all, let alone that high.

I think penguin as got a distinct unfair advantage in this weather hence why he does not get stuck anywhere! 😆

I have (or should I say had) a box profile metal shed for storing appliances taken for spares / recon. It was of very flimsy construction but I thought the roof seemed more sturdy than the sides. Obviously not sturdy enough to carry a foot of snow though:

Big hammer – rivet gun, she’ll be fine.
It’s just about all gone here – until next Thursday….. 🙁
