If indeed this latest release of TDS is to be the last then thats really bad news. The TDS resource was the pinnacle of what a Technical Documentation resource should be. It will present us all with future problems not to have access to this.

Just received TDS disc ordered last week. It is 2007-V2. Is this the latest release seeing as how we are in 2008 now?

Unfortunately I don’t have an account with Connect. The really annoying thing is that the dealer who supplied this old DVD has also charged me £4.99 postage when the envelope it came in has only got three first class stamps on the front. 👿
It is on its way back with suitable enclosures. 😉

Sounds like you need to change your dealer? 🙁 I sent a copy of the current DVD to a mate of mine and it cost me just 70p in first class postage! 😉

I use a couple of suppliers but I have used this particular firm for around 15 years or more and they normally look after me quite well.

Think ‘Lux have moved all that online..
I get all the technical information online now as the TDS disk is normally out of date once its released.
ServiceForce engineers like myself mostly have SideKick diagnostic software on their laptops to aid them in the field, it plugs directly into the board & reads fault history from the appliances & can be used to run the machine under test & reprogramme boards etc.April 21, 2009 at 3:00 pm #233920andy2

If its just a spare that you are after the online shop gives exploded diagrams and part numbers. Quite handy.

u really should have a look at “trade suppliers” link i put in the relevent forum/thread… RHedleys prices i have not found to be beaten as of yet! ruddy marvelous . 😉
The online catalogue is by no means vast.. but a quick call to them they soon source the part needed while on phone.
