Those ‘Field Service Engineers’ amongst us that have not yet considered subscribing to our group, can I urge you to do so 🙂 As Ken says “It is not a Kings ransom” to be part of it, but the benefits will be all apparent in the months ahead. 🙂
Give UKW your support and be ‘Better Informed’ as a result 😉

P.S. Do read Kens posting on the previous page first OK!

Please remember that if you are paying using the mandate form that you NEED A REFERENCE NUMBER so we know who’s actually paying! By any other method, cheque or credit/debit card, we will automatically issue the reference number.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
I use direct credit transfer (BACS) a lot now, can subscriptions be paid by that method?

KeymasterYes, that’s how it was originally setup, all the other methods were added through time just for ease really. The thought being that £5 a month was really and insubstantial amount to most people.
The form for your bank is in the downloads section and it’s a PDF document, if you have any trouble finding it let me know and I can send you a copy.

I have found and printed it so I have all your details, will pay years subscription in one go but what do I use as reference / account number so you know it’s my payment?

KeymasterI’ll get you a reference in the morning Sparkey as I don’t have the doc I need here.
What happens is that I basically allocate a member number to each subscriber that is yours for whatever you need it for, it is not used or re-used for anyone else. Once allocated it should remain the same for good for all things UKW, it keeps things simple and I like simple systems. 😉

I have only just realised something that hasn’t so far been mentioned regarding the modest £5 per month ‘Subscription Fee’ is that for many of us it can be ‘offset against tax’ 😀 You are advised to regard and log the expenditure as “Advertising” to satisfy the Tax Man though.
Which also leads me nicely into reminding those that haven’t yet decided to participate, in that ‘Subscribers’ can benefit directly and exclusively from UKW promoting and advertising YOUR business for just five quid a month!!!!!!!!!!
( 😀 …less Tax even 😀 )

Sparkey, I’ll have an invoice to you in the week 😉
Could you PM me with your company name and address you’d like it sent to please.
Appologies for the delay. We’ve been a little busy of late what with E-jobs and a couple of other projects which will reap benefits for us all 😀

KeymasterThat’s my fault Sparkey entirely. 😳
1. Unless an invoice was requested I didn’t send one!
2. Because I’m pretty crap at remembering such things
Many apologies and if anyone requires an invoice who hasn’t got one please let me or Dave know and we’ll sort it out.
Again sorry.

ParticipantI’m not bothered one way or the other about claiming it back. The amount of work directly claimed by the business from the site covers it easily, and eJobs will shortly make it irrelevant anyway.
I have previously had no problems with any deductions simply by presenting the bank statements as part of my return to the accountant. He is a clever chap though.
Overall, I think you give a bit, get a bit.
