    It isn’t true that I’m connected to the internet umbilically. Honest.

    TBH it’s all good fun and I have to say that I enjoy the banter on here a lot, even the stuff that’s perhaps “uncomfortable” at times as well the cut and thrust of a good debate or conversation.

    Personally I’ve learned a lot from the so-called “addicts”, I can only hope that others have as well and come to appreciate the different views and opinions within the trade as well as the more general stuff. You just understand stuff better from it.

    But the best of it is, even many of those “addicts” that I’ve “had a run in with” are actually what I’d consider to be friends and/or colleagues. That surely can’t be a bad thing?

    It’s all good.

    But even though I’m a bit of a geek and pretty sad many would say, some of you really need to get a life! 😆

    😳 Just checked and I have over 4000 posts at http://www.cableforum.co.uk and nearly 800 at a Virgin Media STB beta testing forum at http://www.chetnet.co.uk

    You will not find me on here if Man U or the England cricket team are playing or when I am on the squash court, I just can’t stand watching all of the ‘reality’ drivel the missus watches on the telly. 😥
