ParticipantJust wondering if anybody else is quiet on the repair side of business out there. I know we all have fits and starts but the work has slowly dried up, to the point now where its between one and two completed jobs per day. Work from Property Management companies has dropped off too.
Really noticed saturday work drop of at first and saturdays had always been prodominently one of our busiest. We cover Sussex, Surrey, Cheshire and Merseyside, and its the same problem in all areas. 😕

Well THIS THREAD has been long running on the subject……much talked about, nature of the beast situation, schools about to all break up, suitcases packed…. spent up on filling the supermarket trolley and the fuel tank on the Mondeo. …..HMRC tax bill due by the 31st…..water bill just hit the coconut matting….you catch my drift?
You are not alone my friend, we are all rowing the same ruddy boat and right now it’s taking on water…. 🙁

I think we are very fortunate, we have been absolutely rushed off our feet and can’t keep up. It will probably slow down now the kids are breaking up for the summer hols.

Not quiet here, been going like a loony since the middle of June. Has a quiet spell in May the phone has not stopped since.
I expect it to die off any time now as they all head for the airports.July 26, 2011 at 3:04 pm #355958cornwell40

Been dead since Yellow Pages put me way down the listings. Now even regulars are saying they couldn’t find my ad 😥 .The rep pointed out that the AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and …………..doesn’t work anymore and isn’t needed and guess what, all those ads come first. Getting better at the moment at 4 calls a day 😥
