Phone the local council and ask for the address of the nearest tip, the machines will be along just after the warranty cards. :rolls:

12 months , you need to have a word with helo_75.
12 months will be a miracle, 12 days would be a record, 12 minutes would be about the norm.
Why anyone would get involved with such a pile of s***e is beyond me. :rolls: 😯
You stand a very good chance of being well out of pocket, even if you had a 1000{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} mark up. Have you tried to get spares or tech info. 😥

It’s your reputation at stake, Garn.
“It’s not my fault if the machines are rubbish” doesn’t cut it in the eyes of your customers…….

While your potential 120{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} profit may be appealing garn, the thought of an outraged punter launching a fire damaged appliance through my dining room window would make me very nervous to be honest.
A happy punter & a good nights sleep are worth more to me than a bulging wallet.. but i like a quiet life.. best of luck anyway 😉

Hi Garn,
What the guys are trying to say in a really nice way, since you’ve obviously bought a load of these is that, frankly, they’re the worst pile of crap that we’ve ever seen. They really do beat even Indesit for being the cheapest, crapest appliances that money can buy.
A nice chap from a certain retailer sent me some of the so-called “technical bulletins” on these things and I’ve never read anything that has even come close to being as utterly useless as those were, they make even the Italian ones seem shining beacons of knowledge and that’s going some with a few of those.
BG dropped servicing Haier due to a greater than (don’t want to confuse people with “>” again :rolls:) 47{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} failure rate in warranty. This has been confirmed from other sources independent from that as well.
Midea are just as bad.
The best thing you can do with them is sell them on to another trader with no warranty and just get shot of them, they’re bad news, big time.
Don’t expect any spares at all. Don’t expect any technical information or support either. They don’t exist.
Recall rates on Haier and Midea are utterly horrific, there’s always something else that can and often does, break.
All in all, I’m really sorry about this, but there’s no good news to be had here and if you were left in any doubt about how crap these things are, there’s no address to register a warranty with… what does that tell you?

Seem to recall that the Haier dishwashers in their various guises peaked at over 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} I/G failure a few years back?
It is in many ways a real shame. These Chinese firms have state of the art factories and are capable of manufacturing to any quality you wish………. depending on your budget. The Titan machine is madly eccentric but built to a very high standard – in China.
The facts will prove to be that Haier were invited to sell in the UK market and “introduce” their brand name by one of the big multiples – if – they could make a machine to a budget price point and allow that retailer to make a healthy margin on the sale. Result slightly inevitable.
Beko started like this. The WM1060/80/10 machines were pretty cheap and cheerful when they came out. Admittedly, all you needed to carry on the van were a couple of £14 modules and some door knobs to sort out 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of problems, but in the fullness of time ISE brought out the 555 from Beko because they were perfectly capable of manufacturing to the required standard by a pretty picky bunch……… us. I’ll take my life in my hands and say that some of Beko’s own top end stuff is actually pretty decent these days.
Market forces, it’s all down to market forces. We mock the cheap stuff and don’t consider why these things come to pass.

iv maneged to find a warrenty dealer but he is 237 miles away
by the cost of the fuel to day!
it would be cheaper for haier to send 4 units free rather than an enginer!

Too true p45, what can we expect from a major appliance shipped half way round the world & retailed for a couple of hundred? not much, thats what.
Whats to blame? The corporate greed of the ‘flog anything if it makes a pound’ sheds, the chavy tight fisted section of the British public who will still be expecting to get a machine for £200 in ten years time no doubt..probably a bit of both i guess.
As you say though, the Chinese CAN build a quality product if they are paid to do so, the nightmare scenario IMO is this price driven tat coming to dominate the market & major appliances ending up like most vacs, microwaves,DVD players do at the first breakdown.. skip fodder. 😥

Participantyou really dont want to know how long we’ve been waiting for some of these parts
be warned, comet, being their biggest outlet, have most of the haier parts in the country, and as a rule last a day before theres none left
watchdog are active, trading standards know all about them, the clocks been tickin for some time
as you all know i have to be carefull what i say, but a 1000{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} markup wouldnt sell me these machines, ive seen too many upside down in the back garden where a certain emergency service have ‘placed’ them
derive your own conclusions from my comments, but i never thought ANY machine could make indesit machines look good, but these do it by a country mile!
has anyone seen one spin with clothes in yet?
