Meh, I’ll take 5 years of trouble free washing..You will be less than pleased when it breaks down and you can’t get someone out to fix it for 2 WEEKS. Parts have to be ordered, more delays, wrong part sent, more delays. Your definition of “trouble free washing” just may be a tad optimistic. 😉
2 weeks, is that the standard Panasonic repair schedule?
There will always be occasion where problems arise and delays are inevitable but that’s not just specific to Panasonic. The mighty ISE have had their fair share of problems. Google shows a customers not having warranty honoured for an 8 month old machine which developed a fault 😯
At the end of the day I know I’ll get the Panasonic fix ‘if’ it develops a fault within warranty..

Panasonic service is provided by GDHA currently.
The guys can explain what that means to you.
There will always be occasion where problems arise and delays are inevitable but that’s not just specific to Panasonic. The mighty ISE have had their fair share of problems. Google shows a customers not having warranty honoured for an 8 month old machine which developed a fault 😯
And on every occasion what was asked for or expected was clearly not covered by warranty.
People decided to go online and gob off to do harm as they didn’t get what they wanted which is fair enough and why that some of those comments have been responded to.
I can also say that there have been a couple of occasions where stuff has appeared online that were, in my personal opinion, almost an attempt to defraud and it isn’t just ISE that is a victim of such “customers” that think they are entitled to whatever they demand irrespective of the reality or cause.
I have investigated several such instances in the past few years as this sort of thing seems to have become more commonplace. Just go and read customer reviews of cars, PC’s and all manners of stuff on Amazon to see what I mean.
Only yesterday it was a fridge freezer through a national retailer who the customer claimed were conspiring against her to rip her off for a couple of hundred pounds. Quite ludicrous.
Today, a cooker that the manufacturer won’t fix, the retailer doesn’t want to know under warranty and so on.
People having a problem is neither new nor uncommon but in the internet age how it is dealt with and perceived or presented can vary hugely. What you’ll usually see is a pattern, a dead giveaway is the same people pasting the same comments anywhere that they can.
I’ll allow you and others to decide what the value of the comments you refer to and how much stock you can actually put in them.
Keep in mind, there’s always at least two sides to every story and if ISE or any other reputable company were to act in the manner described they wouldn’t be in business very long. And, you have no way to know how truthful or valid the comments that are posted may be or indeed, whether the person posting is even remotely qualified to make them.
Internet rants you can find everywhere for almost anything. Meaningful and helpful information is much harder to find.
Do read the warranty terms and conditions though for your new machine and understand what is and is not covered as it will not cover absolutely everything, no warranty does.
